We are so excited to have you here today! The Alabama Farmers Market is open to the public 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The market opens at 6 am and the gates close at 7 pm, depending on the season. Come on down and see what's on the market today! We have a large indoor/outdoor produce market that houses the Farmhouse and Evelyn's Produce. They accept EBT, cash, and most credit/debit cards. Throughout the market you will find produce from local farmers, a flea market, an onsite restaurant and maybe a truck vendor or two. No cash, no problem! We have an ATM located inside the guardhouse as you come through the gate. Worried about parking? We have parking to the left of the Farmhouse and Evelyn's Produce, or you can drive through the market. Drink machines are located behind the restaurant underneath the pavilion.
Absolutely! While we do have a lot of wholesale vendors on the market, we have many retail vendors and are open to the public as well.
No. It is always free to come into the market to shop or visit.
Yes, we have two locations on the market with restrooms. One located at the back of the market, and the other is behind the restaurant.
You can apply at http://www.fma.alabama.gov/ or on our website. Go the the More section and click on Senior Nutrition Program.
We have certain vendors that accept the vouchers. We will update the list as the 2022 season starts.
Unfortunately we don't have water fountains on the market. Drinks can be purchased at the drink machines located behind the restaurant on the market. You can also purchase drinks at the Farmhouse and the restaurant.
